Devil(ishly Good) Eggs

I boiled the eggs, but I never got around to dyeing them for Easter--I was hampered by a lack of food coloring and was too bone idle to go buy some; I had big plans to dye them with natural things like onion skins, coffee, etc., but that didn't happen either! However, I did make some delish (if I do say so myself!) deviled eggs (lots of cumin and a garlic chive garnish). My mom makes killer deviled eggs, but these were pretty darn respectable. And you can't eat just one, you know?

They're at it again: the crows soak food (peanuts, bread, dead birds) in my birdbath and then eat it.
He/she flew to the top of my potting shed with the softened bread...
And then ate it. I don't really mind the bread and peanuts (except that it makes the water become extra dirty really quickly), but the dead baby birds--not so much (ick!).

Tallulah-Palooza Friday

Tallulah Mae believes that her invitation to the royal wedding festivities surely went missing: after all, she is part corgi! "Won't someone at least give me some bangers and mash?" she wonders.

Royally Ready

Scones! We'll be getting up to watch Wills and Kate tie the knot, and we needed to have something to have with our tea.

Actually, not at the moment, alas...but I did have THIS beer last week, and it was DELISH! "That is all..." (who knows what movie that's a quote from?).

Easter Lovelies

We need Smell-o-Vision here so that you can all enjoy the lovely fragrance of these hyacinths. They were part of my Easter basket from my sweet B.
