Fruit Picking 2009: Part 2
We also picked pomegranates, whose beautiful jewel-like seeds shone in the sun... apparently the best way to get at those seeds is to open the fruit up underwater: water in a bowl, submerge the fruit, quarter it, peel it open; the seeds sink, the white pithy stuff rises to the top.
Wildly in love with my husband B., former guardian of the late, lamented Miss Tallulah Mae (the wonder dog), adorer of all canines, dilettantish crafter, obsessed with birds, vintage shopper, lover of libraries, neophyte cellist, and foziewisp.
