{Beep beep beep beep beep...[telegraph noise]...we interrupt our coverage of the county fair with breaking news about a lovely dog who lost her way...beep beep beep beep}Very long story short, I found this stray dog today--no collar or tags (sigh). Isn't she just SOOO darling? And so very, very sweet (she's got lovely ears but, like Miss Tallulah Mae sometimes, had them all gassed back). Miss Robin came to assist--thank goodness!--and we took her to our vet to see if she has a microchip, which she does. And the owner was home when the vet called. And she was coming to get her right away, so we left her in good hands. If she hadn't been microchipped, Tallulah might well have a four-legged sister right about now! But all's well that ends well...yay!
I decided that her name is Petunia...doesn't she look like she should be called Petunia? (Turns out her name is really Dallas...)
