Really, if this flower could talk, I think it could totally convince me to get up on stage and squawk like a chicken in front of the entire audience...luckily, it cannot do so. (Pretty, yes? I believe it to be a California poppy.)

Those yellows are simply gorgeous! They make me feel all sunny on the inside.
