Calavera de Azúcar

Look what I made today! A sugar skull for the Day of the Dead. I made it at a program at the public library--it was me and a bunch of five-year-old kids wielding little pastry bags. The kid across from me wanted his to look like GI Joe. A good time was had by all...

Mine looks a little bit like a drag queen wearing a yamulke, but hey! (The purple foil thing is actually a heart, BTW).

What fun! I'm picturing you with the young children. It makes me giggle.

just you and the kids... i love it! i always played with all the kids things along with my kids. other kids thought i was weird but my kids thought it was normal for an adult to behave that way... just because i'm a grown-up doesn't mean i can't play on the playground!!!! good for you!

Sounds like fun! Tallulah is showing such restraint! Another dog I know would have gobbled up that skull without hesitation:-)
