Jujubes! I've never seen these before (only the
candy!)--apparently these are sometimes known as Chinese dates. (They're being displayed perfectly by
Miss Robin of Various and Sunday.)

Basket full of deliciously aromatic mixed 'shrooms (one of these came home with me and was turned into a fantastically tasty pasta...yum!).

There's a fungus among us! So. How is it possible that a fungus growing on another fungus becomes a parasite??? I must research this one. Thanks for the pics and the... inspiration (?)

I was there, so I can attest to the dahlishousness of the market. But I gotta say: my hand looks fat. Ha. Good thing we didn't balance 'em on my butt!
