Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day, Yay!

Welcome to Foziewisp, my little corner of the blogosphere, where you'll find me posting about this and that, five days a week, rain or shine! Every Friday is Tallulah-Palooza Friday, featuring Tallulah Mae, the Wonder Dog.

To win a big ol' assortment of vintage sewing supplies (pictured above--buttons, sequins, some fabric, trim, and more), just leave me a comment below, on this post only. I'll be cramming as much cool vintage sewing stuff as possible into a flat rate medium USPS; examples of stuff to be stuffed are pictured above (I think all of that above will fit into a medium box--I didn't have one to hand).

INTERNATIONAL VISITORS: I can't ship you the flat rate box (it's for domestic use only), but I'll send one international commenter an envelope full of stuff--so, if you're visiting from outside the U.S., please tell me where you're from (or that you're outside the U.S.) and I'll have a separate drawing for you.

No requirements--just a comment, maybe what era of clothing is your favorite, or the latest book you loved, or your dog's name, but "Hey, pick me!" works too--but I do invite you to visit my two Etsy shops (Sew Betty and Dot and Betty and Dot--check them out on the sidebar to the right) and tell me what you saw there that you thought was cool/fun/weird. ALSO: if you enter the coupon code "sewmamasew2011" in my Sew Betty and Dot shop, you'll receive a 20% discount on purchases (through May 31).

Comments will be accepted until midnight on Wednesday, May 25; I'll use the trusty Random Number Generator to choose the winner. Be sure to leave some way for me to contact you should you win.

Thanks for playing along and sharing some bloggy love! And good luck! The full list of giveaway participants can be found here at Sew Mama Sew.

I love your shop. My daughter is named after 2 of her great grandmothers. (Lily Kathrine) All of the things in your shop remind me of my grandmother, but I think my favorite is the Vera tablecloth. My grandmother's best friend was named Vera. They used to go have coffee every day at the Dairy Queen (THE old people hangout in their small town). Vera didn't have any of her own grandchildren so she was our adopted grandmother...birthday parties, holidays, popcorn balls for Halloween. She passed away about 10 years ago. Thanks for opportunity to remember her.

I'm from Kentucky, so I'm stateside. I love 40s era clothes, I just wished I were built in a manner that that style would be flattering. I don't have a dog, my landlord won't allow it. Though I would have one if I could. My son LOVES dogs. Most recently loved book would have to be Justin Cronin's "The Passage". It's an interesting take on vampires, though it's not mushy romantic or super scary.

Thank you for putting up such a great giveaway. :)

I'm loving the interest vintage is getting lately. There are so many neat styles we can use from the past. I love 60's and 80's (yeah, not so much the giant shoulder pads, but tunics and leggings, dolman sleeve tops etc.) for myself but I adore 40's and 50's styles for my little girl. (oh and I'm from the US)
