Kitchen Poetry: Day One

The lovely and talented blogger over at Simple Sparrow--go check it out right now!--has invited blogland to join her in showing corners of our kitchens this week. If you go to her site and click on the comments for this post, you'll see a list of bloggers who are participating (Robin at Various and Sunday is, too).

This is Pan de Muertos, or bread of the dead, made to celebrate Dia de los Muertos on November 1 and 2. I'm sure there as a zillion recipes on this traditional bread, but this recipe is fantastic. The bread, filled with caraway seeds, is not too sweet, but then you add an orange juice and sugar glaze...oh my. Delish.

Miz S., where would one find that recipe? It would be cool if you posted it! 'Course, my bread making skills are scary like Halloween! Yeast is not my friend.
